July 3, 2008 The Government of Saskatchewan has met its commitment to develop a new school review process and criteria for Schools of Opportunity with the proclamation of the amendments to The Education Act, 1995 and The Education Regulations, 1986.

Jun. 2, 2008 - Education Minister Ken Krawetz today announced $8.3 million in government funding for an estimated $12.2 million new Kindergarten to Grade 12 school in Porcupine Plain.

With distance learning courses increasingly delivered by school divisions, TSL is reducing its services for the coming school year and ceasing operation as of July 3, 2009. New registrations are suspended for the summer, but will resume in late August. A full listing of courses available from a variety of providers will be available at that time.
