Important Information for Students

The Ministry had previously announced that TSL would reduce its services July 5, 2008 and close on March 31, 2009. As a result of discussions with the various stakeholders, it has been decided that TSL will provide instruction until July 3, 2009. This will allow for a smoother transition, providing additional time for school divisions to build on their existing capacity and allowing students to access courses for both semesters. TSL will offer courses in both semesters for the 2008/09 school year.

The Ministry is currently working with school divisions to increase distance delivery in the province. A new schedule of course offerings and fees will be posted in time for the coming school year. Decisions concerning TSL course offerings for the 2008-2009 school year will be made in consultation with other providers of distance education to ensure that student needs can be met. Your patience during this time of transition is greatly appreciated.
