Teacher Certification

In order to receive employment in a publicly funded or independent school in Saskatchewan, a teacher must hold an appropriate teacher's certificate. The public may contact Teacher Services to confirm if an individual teacher is certified to teach in Saskatchewan.

Applicants for a Saskatchewan teacher's certificate must contact Teacher Services to request an application package, or may download an application form. Applicants should review procedures for applying for a teaching certificate before completing the Application for a Teacher's Certificate.
