Saskatchewan is Canada's sunniest province, averaging from 2,000 to 2,500 hours of sunshine annually.

Teachers may obtain a copy of their Saskatchewan teacher's certificate if their certificate has been lost, stolen, misplaced, or if a name change is required.

For a replacement certificate, please submit the following to Teacher Services:

  • your written request or permission, including mailing address;
  • confirmation of your Saskatchewan teacher's certificate number or Social Insurance Number;
  • a verified* copy of your marriage certificate/name change certificate if your name has changed; and
  • a $30 cheque or money order (in Canadian funds) payable to the Minister of Finance, or VISA (Credit Card Service Request Form).

Note: All cheques received which are dishonoured by the payer's financial institution will be assessed an administration fee of $10.00.

Refunds will not be issued for less than $10.00 unless requested.

*Verified means: a photocopy signed by a guarantor who can attest that:  "This is a true copy of the original document." The guarantor must provide his/her full name, contact information and signature.  Faxed documentation will not be accepted.  See the document below for a complete list of authorized guarantors.
